Omri Bonneh

Omri Bonneh is Northern District Manager at KKL-JNF.  He has a Ph.D. in Forestry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master of Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government in Harvard University.  He has worked 39 years for Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (KKL-JNF) and his last positions were the Director of KKL's Northern Region and KKL Chief Scientist.  He represents KKL-JNF in many National and International organizations and is a Board  Member of the IALC since 2003.  In his career, he contributed to development of new forest policy and practices in Israel through research and field experimentation and envisioned and carried out many large-scale environmental projects including the development and management of Lake Agmon Bird Sanctuary in the Hula Valley.  He teaches Forest management and Fire prevention and suppression in Haifa University and the Technical Institute of Haifa.
