Lightning Talk Finalists

Building on the rich tradition of IALC student research opportunities, the conference committee invited current graduate students from the United States, Israel, and Jordan to submit 3-minute lightning talk video presentations to share their creative contributions about some aspect on the conference themes: Water & Agriculture, Land & Natural Environment, and Forests & Fire. Students were asked to include three sections in their videos: (1) background and significance of the research, development activity, or outreach issues being addressed, (2) body of the presentation, including methodology and/or activity, and (3) key results or conclusions that thoroughly explained outcomes to a non-specific audience. Five judges, Nick Brozovic, Julie Ellison-Speight, Sarah Noelle, David Quanrud, and Amber Dalke, reviewed the presentations and selected the six finalists. Each finalist received international recognition and a $100 gift card. Congratulations to our finalists!
