Soroosh Sorooshian

Abstract

This talk will review and discuss the role of SAHRA (“Sustainability of semi-Arid Hydrology and Riparian Areas”–a National Science Foundation Science and Technology Center led by the University of Arizona) in exploiting some technological advances, such as remote sensing, mathematical models, and information technology, needed to address water resources issues of semi-arid regions, particularly the Southwest United States.
